This stunning Italian woven Alpaca blend coating fabric boasts a wonderful natural melange hue like a snow-capped high mountain peak with glimpses of underlying rock peeping through.
Woven from virgin wool and alpaca blended with poly and acrylic, the melange yarns of natural white across the warp and alternating cream and granite-black / grey can be seen on the reverse of the fabric as a basket/grid-like weave. Both sides of this incredible fabric are so beautiful you will want to show them both off.
Frosted Peaks boasts a super cosy, furry embrace perfect for disappearing into on cold winter days. The directional pile is soft and strokable, boasting good stability (some bias ease) and a soft reassuringly heavy drape quality, this stunner has maximum appeal used 'en masse' but there are a host of smaller projects where you can appreciate the furry softness of this quality woollen.
Unlined coatigans and waistcoats or longer-line vest styles are immediately a good choice as are cocoon coats, oversized coats and poncho/wrap styles. This fabric is one you will want to envelope yourself in.
