Waxed cotton fabric in a classic black shade, giving a clean, practical finish that works across both everyday and more hard-wearing outerwear. Its a straightforward, reliable option when you want something that will go with anything.

At 12oz (approx. 400gsm), this is a substantial fabric with good structure, making it well suited to jackets, coats and utility projects. The waxed finish provides dependable water resistance while still allowing the fabric to breathe. It cuts and sews cleanly, and with wear will develop natural creasing and character without losing its shape.

Due to the nature of this fabric we are unable to provide refunds on any returned wax cotton. Therefore we recommend you purchase either a sample where possible or half a metre quantities to ensure you are completely happy with your fabric.

The roll price is 30 for postage. However, if youre happy for it to be folded please proceed as normal. By folding it will come with crease marks on the folds.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.
