In a hammered silk it can take you from "just drinks" that turns into dinner and in a washed linen you can comfortably work from home while still having gotten dressed. And yes, someone will say "i love your dress" and you will get to say "thanks, it's actually a jumpsuit" with a slight smirk.

Fabric Recommendations: This pattern was created for mid weight woven fabrics; shirting/poplin/linen for an everyday look or silk/viscose/cupro for a slinkier look. Depending on the thickness of your main fabric you might way to consider a lighter weight material for self bias tape.
