The Winter Albina from Caitlin Hunter of Boyland Knitworks is a cold-weather version of the Albina sweater. The chunky version is knit in our shop favorite, Elder, has been reworked to be knit from the top down and is easily adjustable to create the perfect fit. This pattern is knitted from the top down, starting at the back and worked to the base of the armholes. Then, the front shoulders are picked up and knitted separately, working from the top down to the edge of the front neck. After joining both
front sections, the front is worked to the armholes.Then, the front and back are joined and knitted in theround down to the hem. The sleeves are picked upand worked in the round. Finally, the collar stitches arepicked up and worked outwards from the body in theround.
The fit is oversized in the body and more fitted in thesleeves and can be easily adjusted for different sleeveand body length preferences.

This sweater is designed to fit with 8-15 in / 20.5-38 cm of positive ease at the chest. For a closer fit choosea size smaller than recommended, making sure thatthe sleeve measurement will still fit. Obsidian + Dune sample shown is a size 2 on a 34 in / 86.5 cm chest, with 14 in / 35.5 cm of positive ease.
